As I look back over the last month of posts, I had forgotten just how much I’ve done. It’s been a month of growth, new design, farming, work and personal development. It’s also been a great exorcise in blogging, communicating, networking, information gathering and most importantly meeting and making new friends.
During the month of August, my husband, son, mother-in-law, stepdad and I have our birthdays.
I will be attending the following craft events with my Rugs.
Wigtown agricultural show 3rd August
Dumfries agricultural show 6th August
Newton Stewart bike rally 7th August
Galloway county fair 20th and 21st August
Port Patrick Craft fair 28th August
As my Dad is leaving for home tonight I will back to my grain hauling duties, whilst still fitting in the making of 4 pairs of curtains, 5 pelmets, 1 bay window pelmet and tie backs. Oh and I’ve been asked to look at designing a border collie rug (which I promised to look at in August)
Having enjoyed the UBC so much I still hope to find the odd time in which to blog and keep you up to date with everything that is going on.
So until then I like to say a huge thank you to all the lovely people who have read my blog and left such nice comments, and to the new friends I’ve made along the way. The UBC has been great fun, and I hope to see you all again at the next one

Have really enjoyed reading your blog Gina and I hope you find the time to continue posting. Good luck with everything you have on, it’s not surprising you’re in demand ~ you are one talented lady!! x
It’s been a pleasure reading about you and your life on the farm. I’m glad all your future posts will go right to my inbox so I won’t miss a thing. Have a happy August with all those celebrations.
Enjoy your August, Gina! And Happy Birthday to you – I hope you find some time to enjoy it with all the other things you have going on. Busy life, but fulfilling life. All the best to you, my new friend!
