What a beautiful day to get started back at work. I’ve had a wonderful week off while my father came to stay. Moving earth and stone possibly wasn’t his idea of a dream holiday, but lunches out in the field and playing with the new excavator definitely kept him happy.
All root vegetables have been planted for the year ahead, Peas and beans are doing well in the house, (even if it is guess work as to what is what since I moved the labels). Bamboo and netting has been ordered to save more of my fruit from the birds and two chickens were added to my brood.
Oh the good life….I couldn’t leave without showing you the bluebell woods I walk through to get from the farm Yard (where my workshop is being built) to Home.

I love the pic of the bluebell woods.
I can’t wait to come and walk through them to visit your new workshop.
This is an exciting year.

Err…yes….but it may well be next year before the workshop is done lol. land leveling, rock hauling and fertilising are keeping the boys busy. I hoping there will be time before the harvest to get a new roof on and then hopfully they can get cracking on the inside during the winter. My husband and his brother do so much for me already I couldn’t possibly ask more of them….well actually I do and they laugh at me. This is definately an exciting year though.
